SVSU Board approves naming rights deal with Covenant for Athletic Training rooms

The Saginaw Valley State University Board of Control has approved a sponsorship agreement with Covenant HealthCare to name the university’s athletic training rooms for student-athletes in the Ryder Center as the Covenant HealthCare Cardinal Care Center. The Board took action during its regular meeting Monday, Feb. 13.

The inaugural Velasquez Lecture on Liberty and Free Markets presents “Liberty, Character and Civility in Politics” on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the Rhea Miller Recital Hall in SVSU’s Curtiss Hall.

SVSU alumnus returns to campus to perform with classical guitar trio

Saginaw Valley State University alumnus Erik Gibelyou will return to campus this Friday, Oct. 14 to perform with Trio Ghidorah, a classical guitar trio. The concert is part of the Rhea Miller Concert Series and will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Rhea Miller Recital Hall. It is free and open to the public.

Saginaw Valley State University has again garnered recognition for its commitment to diversity and inclusion, receiving the 2022 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine, the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in higher education.
