Help! I don't know my SVSU assigned Username and ID #

We are here to help! Setting up your SVSU account is an important first step when enrolling at SVSU. Below you will find a few helpful ways to locate your assigned Username and ID#. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call or text us at 989.342.1033!


Option 1: Locate your info within your paper Admissions packet

Option 2: Retrieve your assigned info using the Admissions Self-Service Center

Step 1) Open the Admissions Self-Service Center

Sign in as an “Existing User” with the username & password you set up when you applied to SVSU

If you have forgotten your password, you can click on "Forgot Username/Password?" to reset.

Step 2) In the Self Service Portal, select: “Applications” in the top menu

Step 3) In the application view, click on the blue hyperlink to view your Decision Letter

Step 4) Your decision letter will show you account access information at the bottom of the letter

Step 5) Optional - Download/print a PDF copy of your decision letter - Click on “Print” with PDF logo, on the right side of screen
