The purpose of this webpage is to help students understand the process for registering with our office to get the required accommodations, self-advocate and articulate their needs to members of the campus community.
The purpose for the Office of Accessibility Resources and Accommodations (ARA) at SVSU is to support our students’ educational experience by helping them access accommodations and services. We mean to do this by removing barriers which might inhibit our students’ ability to have a positive university experience.
Our office partners with our students, faculty and others in the campus community to assure that the students we support have equal access to all programs, services and experiences. All inquiries received by our office regarding reasonable accommodations are kept confidential.
