Visit Cardinal Country Virtually
Experience SVSU in a way that fits you the best. Currently, we can offer three different ways to check us out from the comfort of your home. We can meet person to person by scheduling an Virtual Appointment. We also will be hosting larger group meetings online through the Virtual Valley Visits. These are small group virtual sessions with an Admissions Rep and guest presenter that has expertise in that topic. Each date has a specific topic intended to help incoming students and their families. If you are a transfer student, be sure to look for the special "Transfer Virtual Valley Visits"! These are a great way to get an introduction to all that is SVSU. Our Day in the Cardinal Nest Virtual Tour is a great way to explore campus. All of these options are here to show you why SVSU can be the best choice for your college plans!
In-Person, Personal Campus Visits
SVSU does have in-person tours available through our Admissions Office. We take great care in making sure to provide a safe and enjoyable experience so that you can see the "Day in the Life of a Cardinal". Use the button to see which times are available currently, and please check back periodically if your date and time are not available. If you have any questions about the visit, please call us at 989.964.4200.
Virtual Counselor Cardinal Day
For this event, participants who attend will be able to earn SCHECH Credits and will be able to learn about the significant areas in a student's experience and what makes it unique at Saginaw Valley State University. Course will begin with a presentation regarding the general front-facing details of the University - images of the University, population size, popular majors, location, cost, etc. Following this, participants will begin the main event: three presentation blocks. In each presentation block, each participant will attend one of two presentations. Presentation topics will include financial aid, athletics, housing, campus life, multicultural services, and career services. Finally, the event will wrap up with a student panel where participants will be able to ask questions of the students pertaining to their experiences at SVSU. The focus audience for this event will be high school counselors.
