Every class at SVSU is taught by faculty, 88% of whom hold the highest degree in their field. Learn directly from some of the best professors in the nation - who are not only experts but who are also there to support you.
84% of SVSU students engage in study abroad, field-based learning or volunteer work. Last year, our students earned 3,000 different placements for internships, competitive research, and co-ops.
SVSU proudly graduates nearly a third of our students with zero debt of any kind. We work hard to ensure you start pursuing your dreams with strong financial support.
HIGH FINANCIAL AID
SVSU offers more than $18 million in institutional aid each year. More than 90% of students receive financial aid through academic, merit and athletic scholarships. We also provide grants, loans and Work Study opportunities at SVSU based on financial need.
Annual Cost of Attendance (w/housing): $21,505
At SVSU, we want everyone to obtain a first-class college education, regardless of income. Last year, nearly half of SVSU freshmen had their entire tuition paid for by scholarships and grants that never have to be repaid.
