The Scott L. Carmona College of Business welcomes the newest cohort of the Vitito Global Leadership Institute. The tenth cohort of leaders began their journey in the Winter 2022 semester.


Emmanuel Boadu

Emmanuel Boadu: Emmanuel is a finance major from Ghana. He travelled a lot as a young man, including to a boarding school. His dream after college is to become a financial analyst or venture capitalist. He would also like to use his education to help people from his community to take care of their money. He believes that “good leadership is the door to success”, while “bad leadership is a guarantee of failure”. 

Lisa Catacosinos

Lisa Catacosinos:  Lisa is a general business and management major at SVSU. While going to school, she has also operated her own cleaning business since 2015. Lisa is currently a board member of her church and also managed her church’s co-ed softball team for 9 years. In addition, she helps plan Sunday morning religious classes, day camps, and sleepovers, and co-led a girl scout troop for 3 years. She also enjoyed being a member of an improv group, where she learned listening skills and how to collaborate.

Avery Claybough

Avery Claybough: Avery is a major in general business and currently holds a 3.9 GPA. Avery is passionate about agriculture, having been involved in her family farm growing up. Last summer, Avery had a great experience as an intern at Mibelloon Dairy. The best part of this internship was “being surrounded by several successful women in the agricultural industry and getting to learn from them firsthand”. After graduation, Avery would like to pursue a career in agribusiness and become an advocate for agriculture in her community.

Alexis Krzeminski

Alexis Krzeminski: Alexis is a first-generation college student majoring in Finance and Management. She has interned at Morgan Stanley and helped create financial plans for high net-worth clients. After graduating, she would love to find a job that involves traveling while assisting people with their financial goals. As a leader, Alexis places a high value in creating a safe, inclusive environment where others can trust and rely on her.

Chandler Marden

Chandler Marden: Chandler is a marketing and finance major who is anticipating graduating in 2024. After graduating, he would like to pursue a law degree and has set a personal goal of getting into one of the top 14 law schools in the nation. Chandler strives to avoid complacency on a day-to-day basis- “This life is an amazing opportunity and I feel sitting back and not taking advantage of what I can is a waste”.

Joshua Pickler

Joshua Pickler:  Josh is a marketing major who will graduate in 2023. He is the president of the club golf team at SVSU, where he dramatically increased their members and guided them to play in a national tournament. As a sports lover, Josh would like to one day have a job working in a professional U.S. league such as the NBA or MLB.

Abigail Walk

Abigail Walk: Abigail is a supply-chain major who will graduate in Fall of 2024. She is currently Chancellor of Delta Sigma Pi, which is a professional business fraternity at SVSU. She is also president of the Spanish honors society and completed the Cardinal Business Edge program. After she graduates, Abigail wants to work in corporate law because she wants to “be intellectually challenged and utilize my leadership strengths”. 

Brooke Ward

Brooke Ward: Brooke is an economics major with a minor in mathematics and political science. She currently works for Nexteer Automotive in the Production, Control and Logistics Department. She loves to help people through tutoring and teaching. Brooke’s dream is to pursue a graduate degree in mathematical economics and become a professor.
