Make-Up Exams

Schedule Your Test

To ensure a seat is available and that the exam materials have been obtained, appointments must be made a minimum of 24 hours before the desired test date.  Walk-in appointments are discouraged.  Testers should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled time to complete registration.  Students should not expect to spend this time preparing to take their exams.  All studying should be completed before entering the Testing Center.

If a student is more than 10 minutes late for their appointment, they must reschedule to minimize interruptions for those already testing.  Testers should allow themselves enough time to complete their exams prior to the closing of the Testing Center when registering.  It is highly recommended that students ask their professor how long the test may take so that they can plan accordingly.

Testers are required to present a physical photo ID (student ID, driver's license, passport, or state ID) on test day; electronic versions or "photos" of the original ID will not be accepted.  Students who arrive without physical ID will not be allowed to test; no exceptions.

Testers may reschedule and/or cancel their appointment in one of two ways -

  1. Via RegisterBlast: Directions are located under the "More Information" box on the website.  RegisterBlast will not allow appointment changes within 24 hours of the schedule time.
  2. By contacting the Testing Center: The Center can be reached via email at or phone at (989) 964-2820.

Please note that rescheduling of a make-up exam testing appointment must be approved by the faculty member in writing before said appointment may be moved.  Center staff cannot adjust the final due date/time of an exam without faculty approval.
