Minimum Standard Sanctions for Various Offenses
Depending on findings from Student Hearings, a variety of sanctions can be imposed based on found responsibility for certain offenses. The following standards are set as guidelines for minimum sanctions that may be imposed per offense found.
Code of Student Conduct

Fire Safety Equipment

| Footballs, Frisbees, throwing objects or sports inside facilities | $25 + restitution |
| Selling, Advertising, Soliciting | $50 |
| Smoking/Tobacco use in unauthorized areas (Tobacco Products, Vaping, Hookah, etc.) | $100 |
| Voluntary Compliance/Directive of a University Official | $100 |
*Note: Sanctions are applicable to first offenses, only, and may be accompanied by probationary periods. Sanctions are progressive with repeat offenses and the severity of the actions.

University Housing & Residential Life Community Standards
The sanctions and fines listed below represent the minimum sanctions for a first offense. Unless otherwise specified, monetary fines will double for each subsequent violation of the same policy. The University reserves the right to increase sanctions beyond these minimums based on the severity of the conduct, prior disciplinary history, or other aggravating factors.

Progressive Sanction Schedule
Unless otherwise stated, fines will increase as follows:
