Create Your SVSU Profile

By creating an SVSU profile you can review your financial aid award letter, access important SVSU emails, register for orientation and contract for housing. Creating this profile does not commit you to attending SVSU. It allows you to explore all that SVSU has to offer while you finalize your decision to enroll.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN, you will need your Personal SVSU Information (see example below), which can be found in your admission letter and also in your Application Portal.

CREATE YOUR SVSU PROFILE

  1. Click on the CREATE PROFILE button (below)
  2. Within the Microsoft Window select "+ Use another account"
  3. Enter your SVSU email address, click Next
  4. Enter your Temporary Password
  5. Create and enter a new password, click Submit

Explore Scholarships and Financial Aid

When you complete your FAFSA, you are automatically considered for SVSU’s academic scholarships and grants.

Additionally, YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE for one or more of over 1,000 private scholarships! This is a great time to explore which scholarships you would like to apply for. (Need Help?)

Keep an eye out for a reminder from us. We will notify you by email and/or text so if you haven't opted in for texting yet, do that now on your application portal!

Our Express Orientation program for transfer students and non-traditional freshmen offers a hybrid format to provide more flexibility and convenience over traditional orientation programs.
