Dr. Azghari is a Dutch Fulbright visiting scholar at ABS faculty in SVSU, where he will research ‘Loneliness and success in the lives of minoritized students’. Until early November 2024, he will also provide guest lectures on Intercultural Communication & Relations, and conduct classroom talks on migration, identity, and acculturation, which include workshops on challenges in dealing with cultural diversity and intercultural communication skills. Visiting scholar Youssef Azghari is an expert in intercultural communication and the author of eight books on the subject. He is an active and versatile researcher and teacher, who is visible in the public debate by writing columns and op-eds for national newspapers and participating in radio and TV programs. His peers describe him as knowledgeable, energetic, enthusiastic, and an excellent teacher.
