The Pre-Health Professions curriculum at SVSU explores a variety of different disciplines including neuroscience, biochemistry, biology and more. SVSU’s Pre-Health Professions Advisor helps students select a major and set of elective courses that blend with their academic passions in order to prepare them for their chosen medical field. However, initially, students will explore general courses in organic chemistry, biology, zoology, physics, critical writing and more before moving on to their more niche selection.
Pursuing medical excellence through the efforts of protecting and extending life, SVSU's Pre-Health Professions program ensures that students not only gain classroom understanding but also real-world experience at local hospitals like Covenant HealthCare.
