Freshman Summer Service Experience

The Freshman Summer Service Program is a three-day program for incoming SVSU freshman that provides a two-night on-campus overnight experience with other new Cardinals while combining a full day community service opportunity and the chance to experience the surrounding Great Lakes Bay Region.

The 2019 group partnered with the Saginaw Basin Land Conservancy this year to help clean and prepare vacant lots in Saginaw, Michigan for their Pollinator Project.

The 2020 program will take place from July 13th-July 15th. Sign up will open this Summer, but interested incoming SVSU Freshman should contact Riley Hupfer at rshupfer@svsu.edu
