Melissa Strobridge

Congratulations to Melissa Strobridge for receiving the 2025 Heroes in Education Award! Melissa began her career in special education as a high school co-op student at
Macomb ISD. She attended Saginaw Valley State University while working as a paraprofessional and substitute teacher at the Millet Learning Center. After earning her certification, she taught special education in Flint at both elementary and high school levels.
With an ASD certification, she became a Teacher Consultant for Students with Autism and later earned her Supervisor Approval. For the past five years, she has been a Special Education Monitor and Supervisor at Clinton County RESA and recently accepted a new role with Oakland Schools.
We know that you do amazing things, both personally and professionally, and we want to hear all about it.
