Upcoming Trips
SVSU Alumni in Athens, Greece
Alumni are invited to discover their inner Olympian by taking an alumni-exclusive trip to Greece. At a cost of $2,520 per person (Flight not yet included), this trip’s carefully planned itinerary comes packed with exciting adventures and experiences. From June 6 to June 12, 2027, guests will fly out to Athens to explore the ancient ruins of the Acropolis. Alumni will be immersed in local culture and encounter a thermal spa formed by a natural geological phenomenon. Register by March 5, 2027.c

Faculty Led Study Abroad
Faculty-led Study Abroad trips offer alumni the opportunity to join short, academically focused travel experiences led by SVSU faculty. These programs last 1 to 3 weeks and typically include 10 to 20 participants. These programs explore specific topics and are ideal for alumni who want structured learning, meaningful cultural engagement, and the opportunity to travel with current cardinals. With varying costs and accommodations, these programs provide unique access to lectures from expert professors or exclusive sessions with industry leaders. Since the trips are designed for students, alumni may participate only if space is available after student registration and must register as a guest student if selected.
New Years in Paris with OLLI
SVSU’s OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) group invites alumni to join a memorable New Year’s trip to Paris from December 28, 2026, to January 3, 2027. This opportunity is open to the entire alumni community (plus one guest) at a cost of $6,538 per person, which includes flights from DTW, travel insurance, and a thoughtfully planned itinerary. Travelers will enjoy a hands on Parisian baking class, tea at the Palace of Versailles, and an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration.
