"Paint Your Pet" Alumni Art Class

August 14, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM, Studio 23

Join your fellow alumni at Studio 23 in Bay City for an SVSU Paint Your Pet class on August 14 from 5:30 - 7:30 P.M.!

Recreate a photo of your furry, feathered, or four-legged friend on canvas! A step-by-step instructor will guide you through the entire painting process, making this a great experience for artists of all skill levels.

Feel free to bring your own drinks, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, and snacks to enjoy throughout the evening. Some snacks will also be provided!

Cardinal Legacy Golf Outing

August 3, 9:40 AM, Apple Mountain

Join us on August 3 at Apple Mountain in Freeland for our annual Cardinal Legacy Golf Outing! Check-in starts at 9:00 AM, and tee-off is at 10:00 AM. All proceeds go towards the SVSU Legacy Scholarship so that more students can become Cardinals.

SVSU Night at the Detroit City FC is on August 15! Bring your family and friends to cheer on Detroit at 7:00 pm at Keyworth Stadium! All tickets purchased through the SVSU link come with a Cardinals and Detroit City shirt!

Join fellow Cardinals for a day at the ballpark! SVSU alumni are invited to SVSU STEM Day at the Great Lakes Loons on Sunday, August 16, for a 1:00 p.m. game against the South Bend Cubs.

Your $20 ticket includes:

Seating in the Northern Lights Pavilion
Free soft drinks
Two-hour buffet, starting at gates open
Alumni will receive a giveaway item from the Alumni Relations office

Bring the whole crew; non-alumni guests are welcome too!

Alumni Exclusive trip to Greece from June 6-12, 2027

SVSU Alumni in Greece Information Session

October 5, 5:30 PM, via Zoom

Alumni are invited to discover their inner Olympian by taking an alumni-exclusive trip to Greece! At a cost of $2,520 per person (Flight not yet included), this trip’s carefully planned itinerary comes packed with exciting adventures and experiences. From June 6 to June 12, 2027, guests will fly out to Athens to explore the ancient ruins of the Acropolis. Alumni will be immersed in local culture and encounter a thermal spa formed by a natural geological phenomenon.
