Kevin Moore

Congratulations to Kevin Moore for receiving the 2025 Heroes in Education award earlier this year! Kevin currently serves as a history teacher, coach, and social studies department chair at Owosso High School. He graduated in 2001 from SVSU with a Bachelor of Arts in History and English Education after competing as a student-athlete in the Cardinal Football Program. In 2007, he earned a Master of Education degree from SVSU in Educational Leadership and was a member of the Gerstacher Fellowship Class of 2015. Recently, he created a new course, Leadership & Ethics in the 21st Century, modeled after his Gerstacker Fellowship experience, that he currently teaches to high school students. Kevin has been an educator for 23 years, including 19 at Owosso High School.
