Policy

A faculty member may cancel a class or event if they are unable to attend due to adverse driving conditions along the route of travel to the University. Permission for cancellation must be received from the Dean or their designee. 

Procedure

  1. The faculty member will notify and obtain permission from the appropriate Dean’s Office of all class cancellations.  The Dean’s office will be responsible for posting notices of cancelled classes.
  2. Individual faculty members who cancel a class are responsible for notifying students of the class's cancellation.
