Financial Aid and Scholarships

Harry E. Rappa Memorial Engineering Scholarship

Candidates will have an undergraduate degree in engineering, and be employed engineers enrolled in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program; or, be enrolled in the Computer Science and Information Systems (MSCIS) program with a preference for candidates with career experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Other requirements include scholastic achievement, character, and leadership. Financial circumstances may be considered but are not required.

Award: $1,300

 

Ronnie I. Scheall Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will assist graduate students in pursuing an MSW or MBA degree at SVSU. To be eligible, students must be enrolled at least part-time and maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.75. Preference will be given to students who are US citizens or permanent residents of the US, first-generation college students, non-traditional students, and/or students who have participated in activities or organizations that promote diversity and inclusion. All applicants are encouraged to invest their best effort in completing the essay question for this scholarship, as it will be a key part of the selection process.

Award: variable

 

Alumni Endowed MBA Scholarship

Candidates will be full- or part-time M.B.A. students in good standing with a minimum of 12 credits. Candidates must be mid-Michigan residents and demonstrate leadership and good character. Financial need will be considered but is not required for eligibility. Recipients are ineligible if an employer has a tuition reimbursement program. Occasionally, the scholarship recipient may be called upon to participate and represent the Alumni Association in functions useful in generating additional support for future scholarships.

Award: $600

 

Gladys and Samuel Marble Graduate Business Scholarship

Applicants must have attended Delta College and completed coursework there and be SVSU graduate students enrolled full- or part-time in the College of Business and Management. Preference will be given to those with leadership potential and community involvement.

Award: $2000
