Support from the Student Association

September 4, 2019

Members of the SVSU Community,

On the behalf of the SVSU Student Association, we urge your participation in this year's Cardinal Climate Survey, taking place October 1-25, 2019.

The Cardinal Climate Survey is your opportunity to have your voice heard on the future of our campus in the next five years. As a result of the 2014 survey, our campus underwent a transformation, including the establishment of the PRIDE Center, the start of cultural competency sessions, and a new sexual assault prevention training program.

In the 2014 survey, only 17 percent of students participated, far underestimating the voices of students on our campus. As a result, the Student Association, and our executive team, is invested in the 2019 survey, with a goal of reaching at least 50 percent participation from students.

The Cardinal Climate Survey is by far, the easiest opportunity for you to have your voice heard on our campus. And on top of that, your participation is completely anonymous. We want you to be active in creating the change that you desire; your participation in the 2019 Cardinal Climate Survey is your chance to make that happen.

Sincerely Yours,

Hunter L. Koch
