September 2023

LABOR DAY

Labor Day 2023 will occur on Monday, September 4. Labor Day pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers and is traditionally observed on the first Monday in September. It was created by the labor movement in the late 19th century and became a federal holiday in 1894. Labor Day weekend also symbolizes the end of summer for many Americans and is celebrated with parties, street parades, and athletic events. The School/University Partnership Office honors the labor, time, talent, and expertise by our public-school academy network of dedicated employees.

SPOTLIGHT STORY

Empowering Through Giving: Landmark Academy's Backpack Giveaway

Landmark’s incredible transparency and compliance were illuminated through the school's social media presence. Landmark Academy showcased its dedication to openness and collaboration with stakeholders by sharing the Harbor BBQ on their platforms. This act not only celebrates the giving spirit of the school but also invites the community to be a part of their meaningful initiatives.

In the tapestry of Landmark Academy's endeavors, the backpack giveaway event stands as a shining example of academic achievement and inclusivity. By providing students with the tools they need to succeed, the school aligns with SUPO’s core values while making a positive impact on its students and the community.

For more stories that reflect Landmark Academy's commitment to academic excellence and inclusivity, stay connected on their website and social media channels. https://landmarkacademy.net/
