You have found a new passion. A passion for discovery, research, and ultimately answering the age old question, "why?". We have opportunities for you to pursue this new passion with your own research, helping faculty with theirs, and resources to help you through this process. And, when you're ready, we hope you will consider sharing some of your experience and knowledge with others.
Applications are accepted each spring for Team Leader and Teacher Assistant positions. This is a paid position for high school and college students strong in math and who are eager to share their passion with younger students.
Apply for an opportunity to do summer research with the Dow Science & Sustainability Education Center. Each project is closely aligned with the Saginaw Bay Environmental Science Institute (SBESI) and relates to the Saginaw Bay Watershed. Funding is available for undergraduate student internship positions for up to 8 weeks.
UGRP supports the university’s value in academic exploration and achievement by providing opportunities for our undergraduate students to participate in hands on research experiences in a variety of unique and meaningful ways. The program funds four distinct research grants including: UGRP faculty-led grant, UGRP student-led grant, UGRP student-travel grant, and UGRP mini student-led grant.
