The Executive Assistant to the President/Secretary of the Board of Control serves under the President of the University, with responsibility to the Board of Control.
In the role of Executive Assistant to the President, this position provides leadership for the inner functions of the Office of the President, ensuring exceptional communication among members of the senior administrative team in support of presidential priorities and institutional goals. This position also serves as the President's liaison to a broad range of campus and community groups and organizations.
In the role of Secretary to the Board of Control, this position serves as a liaison between the Board of Control and the President. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and facilitating the work of the Board to support effective university governance — including managing Board meetings, maintaining official Board records and minutes, ensuring compliance with governance policies, and supporting communication between Trustees and a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
