Faculty
Most of SVSU's 241 full-time faculty hold the highest degrees in their field
(usually doctorates). They teach at all grade levels in classes that average 19
students.
Financial Aid
SVSU offers a full range of financial assistance to students,
including:
- Need Based grants, loans, and scholarship
- Scholarships based on academic and other achievements

- 2002-2003 Tuition and Fees: $146.05 per credit hour for Michigan
undergraduates - 2002-2003 Room and Board: $5,485 per year for Residence Halls and Apartments
($457/month)

Athletics
SVSU is a member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
There are nine intercollegiate sports open to men and nine to women. SVSU is a
NCAA Division II school.
