The Office of Academic Affairs assures academic quality by engaging in systematic efforts to strengthen and streamline curriculum, develop and reward faculty, and integrate technology, providing educational opportunities for the University community. The Office will foster a student-centered learning environment responsive to the needs of a diverse student body.
The responsibility for the academic mission of the University lies with The Council of Deans & Directors. The Council is chaired by the Vice President for Academic Affairs and is comprised of the Associate Vice President for Academic Planning & Assessment, the Deans of the five Colleges, and the Directors of the Library, Sponsored Programs, and Instructional Support Programs.
