Mission

We partner with faculty, departments, and academic units to foster inclusive, innovative, and evidence-based teaching that advances student learning, faculty success, and academic excellence at SVSU.

To build a community of mutually supportive faculty who are engaged in the discussion and implementation of innovative teaching and learning practices.

Goals

1. Promote understanding and implementation of high-impact, evidence-based pedagogical practices designed to support student success. 
2. Equip faculty with the tools and strategies to innovate in evolving teaching environments, including online, hybrid, and AI-integrated classrooms. 
3. Support the campus teaching culture through sustained faculty communities, interdisciplinary collaboration, and recognition of teaching excellence. 
4. Serve as a campus leader in aligning pedagogy with student success priorities such as retention, belonging, and career readiness.
