The B.A.T. Project (Phase I)

BATS street project 2
The B.A.T. Project (Phase 1) The B.A.T. Project: Business, Art and Theater Revive Urban Communities was a multi-class collaborative performance event held in the Ott Auditorium, Thursday April 19, 2012, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  The project involved students from Professor Ofori-Dankwa's MGT 321: Organization & Administration, Professor Rzeszutek's THEA 336: Intermediate Acting and Art 433: Community Mural Painting, History and Technology.   Eight teams, each team a mix of students from each class, presented a two-hour onstage performance/presentation/exhibition extravaganza, completing the first year's milestone of a multi-year, three stage project.

The project provided Art students an opportunity to witness business planning and management tools in an artistic setting, and opportunity to work in virtual teams.

Art 433 students involved were Bethany Ambrose, Akia Bell, Ashley Bostwick, Samuel Dantuma, Jon Elliott, Randi Espinosa, Emily Finta, Kaitlyn Foulk, Kait Heins, Christine Janowiak, Caleb LeClair, Patricia McDonald, Crystal Porter, Ryan Shaffer, Renee Shelton, Garrett Weslock and Arielle Wells.

The culminating event was shown on the evening news and was documented in a video by Scott Umberfield
