Campus Visits: Explore what makes SVSU unique!
Each year the Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) School/University Partnership Office (SUPO) is pleased to welcome students from the charter schools it authorizes to SVSU's main campus. SVSU SUPO tours usually last longer than typical campus tours because they take a deep exploration into what is happening at the university. We strongly believe that students that step foot on campus can better envision themselves attending college.
Visiting students will get the chance to explore many of the key points around campus, including:
- Gilbertson Hall (Public School Academy Office)
- Arbury Arts (Marshall Fredericks Museum)
- Wickes Hall (Financial/Career Services)
- Cardinal Cafe (Food Variety)
- Ryder Center (Fieldhouse, Gym, Recreational Area)
- Brown (Engineering)
- The Marketplace (Lunch)
- Curtiss Hall (Conference Room)

Registration for 8th-grade and 11th-grade visits during the Fall 2023 and Winter 2024 semester are now open!
Schools may be on campus from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. during their visit.

Preparing for the Perfect Visit
Here is what you need to know to ensure your visit goes as smoothly as possible:
Before your visit:
- To begin the process, please complete either the PSA 8th Grade Visit Registration Link or the PSA 11th Grade Visit Registration Link and allow 3-5 business days for confirmation.
- Two weeks before your campus visit the following needs to be submitted to psa@svsu.edu
- A roster of confirmed students and chaperons
- ALL permission slips
- Liability Form
- One Week before your campus ALL attending students must complete the pre-survey (the survey link will be sent to your email)
On the day of your visit:
- Please text George Copeland (989) 341-4317 the morning of the visit with your estimated arrival time and the total number of students and chaperons
After your visit:
- SUPO will reimburse schools up to $1,000 for transportation costs for 8th grade visits and will reimburse all transportation costs for 11th grade visits to the SVSU campus.
