Art Department Freshmen /Transfer Student Mentorship Program

MENTORS

The art department is looking for volunteers to serve as mentors to new freshman art department majors during the upcoming fall semester.  If you will have a junior or senior class standing for the upcoming fall semester, and are interested in serving as a mentor, please contact Emily Kelley (edkelley@svsu.edu)  or Phillip Hanson ( phanson@svsu.edu) to have your name added to our list of volunteers. 

A mentors main task would be to help their freshman mentee acclimate to the SVSU campus and become better acquainted with the department. There will be a couple of organized events for mentors and mentees during the fall semester, but we will also encourage you to meet with your mentee on an individual basis.
