SVSU Foundation Resource Grant

The purpose of the SVSU Foundation Resource Grant Program is to stimulate innovation and enrichment of opportunities for students by providing funds for programs, projects, or travel.

Eligibility:  Proposals must be submitted by SVSU faculty or staff; student generated projects require an SVSU faculty or staff advisor/mentor that signs and submits the application and serves as the project advisor and contact person. 

• All grant proposals must align with one or more of the six goals detailed in the current SVSU Strategic Plan.
• Programs and projects must be completed within a one-year time period.
• Student travel proposals are capped with a maximum funding amount of $1,000. The SVSU Foundation Resource Grant Program no longer accepts Study Abroad trip requests.

Awards are based on available funds generated by distributions from the SVSU Foundation Resource Fund endowment.

Historic award amount of $5,000.

Applications are due by 4:30pm March 15 and 4:30pm October 15 of each calendar year, or the next business day if the due date falls on the weekend.
