INAUGURAL DR. MAMIE T. THORNS AND DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. 2026 LEADERSHIP AWARD WINNERS

The Dr. Mamie T. Thorns and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Award 
recognizes SVSU students who exemplify a strong commitment to leadership, 
service to others, and the advancement of community, equity and inclusion. 
This award honors individuals who demonstrate integrity, compassion, and 
active engagement in creating positive change on campus and beyond. 
Recipients are also expected to complete a service reflection or an approved 
community engagement activity during the award year.
