Medical Laboratory Science Course Sequence
The following are suggested semester-by-semester courses for students who wish to major in Medical
Laboratory Science. Students are also responsible for completing General Education Categories 1, 2, 6, 7, 8 and 9. Make sure that the courses you choose satisfy these categories. The Academic Advising Center (Wickes Hall 117) advises all pre-medical laboratory science students as they complete their prerequisite and general education courses. Students are encouraged to meet the MLS Program Director, Margot M. Alvey, MI, MLS (ASCP), mmlondon@svsu.edu, each semester as they plan their courses.
