Attend the Grad Fair to pick up your cap and gown for commencement! There are many resources at the Grad Fair to help you through graduation and as an SVSU alum. You will be able to: purchase cords and stoles, buy graduation announcements, buy a class ring, have your photo taken in a cap and gown with Grad Images, learn about alumni benefits, and be entered into a giveaway for a free diploma cover!
If you cannot attend the Grad Fair, you will be able to pick up your cap and gown from the SVSU Bookstore anytime before the Commencement ceremony.
Yes, you can have a friend or family member pick up your cap and gown. They will need your name and your student ID number.
Masters and Doctorate degrees cannot wear cords during the commencement ceremony, as they will be wearing hoods.
If you got your photo taken with Grad Images, you can contact them about how to receive your photos at 800-261-2576 or email them HERE.
Yes, you can exchange your cap and gown for a different size at the SVSU Bookstore anytime up until commencement.
