Web Operations is entrusted with conveying SVSU, and its uniqueness locally and worldwide through use of the internet. As a result, all content published must be vetted and approved referencing web standards, style guides and other related requirements. Web Operations is responsible for establishing policies, procedures and standards to ensure quality and legal compliance, as well as enforcing adherence to them. Ongoing support and training for departmental “content” contributors is provided. To that end, Web Operations is keenly focused on best practices on the web, governance as it applies to message and the appropriate usage of the SVSU brand, as well as accessibility to all visitors to svsu.edu.
