Prospective Students

I am Peggy Mead-Finizio, Associate Professor of Theatre and Chair of the Department of Theatre at Saginaw Valley State University. Choosing a college program is an important decision, and the process can become overwhelming. I can be a resource to help in your process. We can exchange emails, phone calls, or schedule an in-person visit. I would love the opportunity to meet with you, answer your questions, and help you learn more about what makes our theatre program unique.

Whether you are considering a major, minor, or are simply interested in how theatre can fit into your SVSU experience, I encourage prospective students to visit our department. We can schedule a meeting with a theatre faculty member, or you can come for a shadow day to sit in classes, observe rehearsals, meet current students, and/or attend one of our live theatre productions. Seeing our program in action is often the best way to determine if SVSU is the right place for you. Please reach out to me at any time for more information about our department and SVSU in general.
