The Roberts Fellowship Program is a highly selective group of 12 outstanding SVSU students from a wide range of disciplines who spend an entire academic year together in special seminars, courses, and community engagement activities.  Much of the study centers on leadership from a global perspective.  At the end of the academic year, Roberts Fellows are immersed for three weeks in Asian culture, travelling to China, Taiwan and Japan.  The program is offered at no cost to student participants.

Athletic training major, Kristen Tomczyk is a Roberts Fellow.  She is also a member of the women’s soccer team and chair of the Student Athlete-Advisory Committee.
