Student Organization and Departmental Resources

Student Life will help Student Organizations and SVSU Departments advertise their programs, events, and services through weekly emails to all enrolled students called Event Blasts.

Event Blasts are weekly email blasts to all SVSU students every Monday that share upcoming events held by Student Organizations and SVSU Departments.

• Requests to include an ad in the Event Blast must be submitted to the form linked below.
• All requests must be submitted one week before the Event Blast email is sent.
• All requests must include an image. This can be your department's logo, a social media-friendly graphic, or an image that fits the event, program, or service.

Student Life will help Student Organizations and SVSU Departments advertise their programs, events, and services by sharing fliers/posters on bulletin boards across campus. 

Student Organizations or SVSU Departments interested in posting fliers across campus must follow these guidelines: 

• Complete the Flier/Poster Submission Form
• Submit your flier through the form at least two weeks before you'd like it posted
• Follow all requirements outlined in the Submission Form

Program Board offers funding to Student Organizations for events and programs on campus that meet the following criteria:

• Organization must be a student-led, registered organization through the Office of Student Life
• The event or program that is requesting funding must be open to the entire SVSU student community 
  • Program Board cannot allocate funds for private or closed meetings
• Organization should submit their request at least six weeks prior to the event date
