MSOT Application Requirements & Instructions
Offers of admission will be announced by Friday, March 12, 2021. Applicants offered admission to our 2021 class will be required to provide a non-refundable $200 tuition deposit to reserve their space. This deposit will be required within 2 weeks of their admission offer. Admitted students who enroll in the MSOT at SVSU will have their $200 deposit transferred towards the tuition costs of the Spring 2021 semester.
Due to the many qualified applications we received and the high caliber of our applicant pool for this year's class, we have established a waitlist. In just a few weeks we will determine whether or not we will be admitting students from the waitlist and if so, how many. If you are currently on the waitlist and a space becomes available to you, we will notify you by mid-April. Updates regarding our waitlist will be sent via email and text message. 2020-2021 Application Deadline
The MSOT Application will be available on Friday, December 18, 2020. The application deadline is Friday, January 15, 2021. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

MSOT Additional Application Requirements
Once the application opens, please access the application.
**Please note: If you have recently applied to SVSU (August 2018 or later), you can log in to the application system. Applicants new to SVSU or who have applied prior to August 2018 will need to create an application account at the time of applying.
Our application system will prompt you to upload supplemental documents after the application form is completed.
- 3+2 Applicants (students without a bachelor's degree): Please save and upload all supplemental documents (writing sample and items 1-7) in the application's Self Service Center.
- MSOT Applicants (students with an earned bachelor's degree): Please save and upload all supplemental documents (writing sample and items 1-3 and 7) in the application's Self Service Center.
Admission Results Notification?
Notification of admission results will be sent out no later than the week prior to Spring course registration (generally early March). Please do not email or call the admissions or occupational therapy department to inquire about admission results. All admission committee decisions are final.
