Parent Workshops

MI GEAR UP SVSU offers interactive Parent Workshops and Community Involvement with discussions that focus on college and career awareness. Parent Involvement events consisted of the "Three Doctors, Tracey K. Smith, 15th Annual MLK Symposium, Cinco de Mayo parade, and campus visits.  The GEAR UP families were able to enjoy these events in collaboration with SVSU's Office of Diversity Programs, KCP's Future Faculty and Visiting Professor, Office of Multicultural Services, Student Affairs Division, Athletic Department, Admissions, Student Life, Delta College and Bridge Center for Racial Harmony.
