The Undergraduate Research Program (UGRP) supported by the Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation supports and promotes outstanding and innovative student work in the arts, humanities, sciences, professional disciplines, and community service. The UGRP integrates the University's teaching and research missions through the creation and facilitation of faculty/student research partnerships. The Undergraduate Research Program supports undergraduate research in the form of three different grants including: faculty-led grant, student-led grant, and student-travel grant. Full time faculty in all disciplines are eligible to apply for the faculty-led grant (students from all disciplines may apply for the other two grants). There are two application dates each year, one at the end of October and one in March.
