If you are not familiar with esports, then we invite you to watch and catch all the excitement of this fast growing field of competition (by 2021, the number of casual viewers and enthusiasts is predicted to grow to 557 MILLION).

The excitement doesn't stop there as this fall, SVSU students can competitively complete by joining the NEW Esports club sport!

Overwatch Tournament

Eight high school teams competing for $1,000 SVSU scholarships on the Rhea Miller Recital Hall stage.

  • 10 - 11 AM: Registration in Curtiss Hall lobby. Overwatch teams must be present.
  • 11AM - 1 PM: Teams have 15 minutes each to test machines.
  • 1PM - Tournament begins! Friends and family are encouraged to watch!

Pre-registration is not required. Prizes do not include SVSU scholarships.

  • 10AM - 12PM: Sign-up in Curtiss Hall lobby.
