Art Alumni Reunion

Date, Time: Sunday, October 14th, 2018 from 4 - 9 pm
Location: SVSU University Art Gallery and Alumni Lounge

This reunion will feature an informal reception for the Art Alumni Show at the University Art Gallery from 4 - 5 pm. Light refreshments will be provided. After this, the group will move on to the SVSU Alumni Lounge in Curtiss Hall for a more structured event featuring an open bar. Events may include:

• Interviews for the Alumni Office describing what alums enjoyed about the SVSU Art Department.
• An art exchange, in which anyone who wishes to participate will bring work that they have made in any medium to trade with another alum.
• An installation piece, in which participants will create something for the Student Gallery in the University Art Gallery to be shown during the remainder of the Art Alumni Show.
• A panel discussion in which alums share what they're doing since graduating from SVSU.

This event does require a RSVP either to the Facebook event page or e-mail Alison Bur (BFA, 2016). Each alum is welcome to bring one guest, and the dress code is business casual.

SVSU Art Alumni Show

October 10th - 31st, 2018
Reception: October 18th, 4 – 6 pm

This exhibition features work by Art Department alums with a Bachelor of Art or a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art, Visual Art Education, or Graphic Design. A variety of mediums will be showcased including but not limited to photography, painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, graphic design and more.
