High School Invitational Exhibition

High School Invitational March 14 - April 8, 2016   Reception Thursday March 24, 2016 4:30pm - 7:00pm

For some, the creative process starts at a very young age but truly doesn't come into fruition until the high school years. The Art Department at SVSU strongly supports this stage of creative development by high school students. This exhibition honors and celebrates the great creative work being done through the efforts of high school teachers and their students. ‌‌Come visit the University Art Gallery for our first ever High School Invitational and view over a hundred and thirty different works of art from the talented high school students from nine different high schools in the Mid Michigan area. The exhibition consists of works created in variety of different mediums including photography, painting, ceramics, mixed media and drawings.
