The ART 480 course is a capstone course for students pursuing a degree in art whether it be art, fine art, graphic design or art education. In the course the students learn the fundamentals of arts management, safety, marketing and exhibiting all the things to prepare them for a professional presence within the field of art. As part of their course work they are required to curate and prepare an exhibition of art.

This Exhibition will feature the creative works of Jessica Cornford, Jessica Gottleber, Jess Inman, Kylie Clark, Sarah Kokko, and Savanna Shaw, Best Of: Art 480 highlights the unique styles and personal artistic choices of each student. The exhibition includes a variety of media, from graphic design and sculpture to painting and drawing, offering a comprehensive look at the talent fostered within SVSU’s Art Department.

Attendees can expect a visually engaging and thought-provoking experience, as each piece reflects the artist’s unique perspective and mastery of their chosen medium. The works on display invite viewers to engage with contemporary artistic expression.

The SVSU Gallery is free and open to the public during regular gallery hours. Best Of: Art 480 serves as an opportunity to support and celebrate the achievements of SVSU’s next generation of artists. Community members, art enthusiasts, and collectors are encouraged to attend and experience the diverse talent emerging from SVSU’s Art Program.
