College of Health & Human Services

Welcome!

The College of Health and Human Services offers undergraduate degrees in athletic training, exercise science, health science, medical laboratory science, nursing, and social work and graduate degrees in health leadership, nursing, and occupational therapy. Each of these programs combines theoretical courses with clinical or fieldwork experience components to provide thorough professional knowledge and hands-on skills.

Program News

On December 16, 2011, SVSU's Board of Control approved a new Doctor of Nursing (DNP) practice program and changes to our Masters in Nursing program to begin the Fall 2012 semester.

Several changes have also been made to our BSN program for students following the 2011 and beyond catalogs. Current students are encouraged to see their advisors to learn how these changes affect them.
