Just in time for Halloween, local author Nicole Beauchamp will present a talk about her path to becoming a successful author of “haunting” books.
Beauchamp, of Bay City, will present “Apparitions & Aspirations: An Evening of Haunted History and the Journey to Becoming a Successful Author” on Monday, Oct. 27, from 7-8 p.m. in the Roberta Allen Reading Room on fourth floor of Zahnow Library at Saginaw Valley State University. This event is free and open to the public.
Beauchamp’s works often focus on paranormal or haunted activities at locations from her hometown of Bay City to New Orleans. She will discuss her most recent books and her journey to becoming the writer she is today.
A world-renowned paranormal researcher, Beauchamp founded the Tri-City Ghost Hunters Society in 2009 and has since investigated haunted sites worldwide. Her work has been featured in national and international publications, including That’s Life magazine, the Belfast Telegraph (Northern Ireland) and Sunday World (Republic of Ireland). Nicole has authored several books in Arcadia Publishing’s “Haunted America” series, including “Haunted Bay City, Michigan,” “Haunted Detroit,” “Haunted Bars & Pubs of Michigan” and “Haunted French Quarter Hotels.” Her passion for history and the paranormal fuels her mission to enlighten readers about the spirit realm.
