Re-think your classroom practices and gain strategies

As an educator, you face daily challenges and strive to address the needs of diverse student groups in your schools. The Educator Leadership Institute addresses methods for responding with sensitivity to the needs of vulnerable students. The Institute is designed around the specific needs addressed in many community conversations that SVSU had with educators regionally. The sessions are geared towards your needs and will help you re-think your classroom practices and gain strategies to make your school a trauma sensitive environment that is responsive to all learners.

Join us, and widen your circle of support with peers and experts from SVSU and state-wide through a highly-focused learning experience and networking opportunity.

We encourage both teachers and administrators to attend from the same school. As a team, explore and determine how the information and advice you will receive can apply to your unique school environment.
