You are an auditor if you wish to take courses at SVSU but desire neither credits nor grades for these courses. The tuition charge for an auditor is the same as that charged to the student who is taking the course for credit. Auditors are not eligible for financial aid. You are an Exploring the University student if you would like to take classes for personal enhancement or thinking about pursuing a college degree in the future. Exploring the University students are eligible to take up to 15 credits with a maximum of two courses per semester. At any time students may enter a degree program at SVSU by following the admissions criteria outlined for degree-seeking students. Credits earned through the program will transfer into a degree program. Students are not eligible for financial aid until they are enrolled in a degree-seeking program.
