The Saginaw Award for Excellence - Full Tuition Scholarship
High school seniors with a GPA of 3.5+ GPA from Saginaw High, Arthur Hill, and Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy are eligible to compete for a 4-year full-tuition scholarship* to SVSU!
Applicants must apply to the FAFSA by January 31st of their senior year to be considered for the Saginaw Award for Excellence. They must also complete the Saginaw Award for Excellence Scholarship application between November 1 - January 31. A link to the application will be available on this page starting November 1.
*Every qualifying applicant with a 3.5+ GPA will be offered a $1,500 Valley Housing Scholarship if they choose to live on campus to assist with their housing costs.

To be eligible, you must complete a few simple steps. Don't wait as there are a limited number of scholarships available.
You will need your Personal SVSU Information (see example below), which can be found in your admission letter and also in your Application Portal.
How to Activate Your SVSU Email:
- Click on the ACTIVATE EMAIL button (below)
- Within the Microsoft Window select "+ Use another account"
- Enter your SVSU email address, click Next
- Enter your temporary Password
- Create and enter a new password, click Submit
