Students using Veteran’s Benefits at SVSU are strongly encouraged to see an Academic Advisor in the Military Student Affairs Office or the Academic Advisement Center prior to registering for classes before each term. Courses not required for your degree program will not be certified to the VA.

Students using VA Education Benefits are required to complete the VA Benefits Form (138KB) Once you complete and submit the form to the School Certifying Official, your classes will be certified to VA for that term and all subsequent terms unless you specifically request to not be certified for a term. If you do not complete and submit this form, we can not certify you for education benefits to the VA.
