All faculty and staff along with their spouses and dependents (up to age 26) are recognized as members of the Fitness Center and may use the facility free of charge.
Non-employees will be required to obtain membership cards to access the facility. The process to acquire these membership cards must be initiated by an SVSU faculty or staff member online at https://recreation.svsu.edu/.
A variety of information and resources are available to improve health and well-being by inspiring, educating and empowering employees to engage in positive health and lifestyle behaviors that lead to lifelong wellness. Visit https://www.svsu.edu/hr/healthwellness/employeehealthwellbeing/
SVSU's corporate partnership with the Great Lakes Loons & Saginaw Spirit includes complimentary tickets for faculty and staff to the Loons & Spirit home games. We would like to offer you the perk of attending a game for free. Staff and faculty can receive four (4) non-transferable tickets for one home game per season.
Tickets will remain paperless this year, and those who reserve a game through Cardinal Perks will receive tickets in their SVSU email.
Please log in and retrieve your tickets here: https://svsucardinalperks.com/
All SVSU faculty & staff (full-time and part-time) are eligible to receive complimentary admission to all home regular-season Athletic contests for the 2024-25 academic year.

Faculty and staff may elect to purchase a number of meals allowing them to dine at the Marketplace at Doan an all-you-care-to-eat eatery at a discounted price.
Declining Balance functions like a dining debit card and can be used at any on-campus dining locations, convenience stores or the Marketplace at Doan.
The Cardinal Athletic Club is a vital segment of the SVSU community. Memberships support the athletic department in providing scholarship aid and operational funding to more than 500 SVSU student-athletes participating in 19 varsity sports. Each donation assists us in our mission of building champions in the classroom, in competition, and in life. Membership support comes with a variety of associated benefits, such as reserved seating at football games, game-day hospitality, reserved parking and club merchandise.
The Michigan Education Savings Program allows employees to save money for educational expenses. Account earning will grow on both a federal and state tax-deferred basis until the beneficiary is ready to go to college. The funds may be used at almost any eligible institution in the nation.
